Although there is no strong historical or archeological evidence to prove the existence of the Hsia dynasty, it is believed that the Hsias ruled China from 2205 to 1766 BC. Ancient China Hsia Dynasty is mainly a part of Chinese mythology and was founded by King Yu, who was the last of the Sage Kings.
According to the Chinese beliefs, the Hsias ruled China for almost 400 years and were overthrown by Tang in 1766 BC. Tang then founded the new dynasty, the Shang dynasty.
